They squeaked out 3 pt nail biter that felt like it should have been a 17 point blowout win.

Nick Bosa said he was trying to avoid a horse caller penalty on the insane Baker Mayfield stiff-arm throw. Just found himself between a rock and a hard place

Dominick Puni was the 49ers' highest-graded offensive player. On top of that: The rookie now ranks in the top 10 (#8) of NFL guards in PFF's run-block grade. He's even above Joe Thuney.

(I thought that was impossible since "the 49ers didn't invest in their offensive line!")

PFF's highest-graded 49ers defender against the Bucs: rookie Renardo Green, who saw his first career start in Charvarius Ward's absence.

Rock Ya-Sin's 12 snaps replacing Green (foot) were then huge. This is easily the deepest CB room Shanahan/Lynch have fielded

man i thought they were gonna blow that one too lol. To be fair, if Moody makes all the FGs the game is a much more comfortable win. But good on the D to clamp down at the end to give us a chance to get the W. Offense looked aight. CMC wasnt the amazing savior people were making him out to be as Redzone issues looked pretty much like all season. hope they can carry this confidence and get a big Divisional W next sunday

Lenoir has given up the 7th lowest passing rating, 65.0, into his coverage this season. And he's done is playing both inside and outside — the 'Star' position Brandon Staley first used with Jalen Ramsey, the game's highest-paid corner.
