I used to use them to mean optimism,I didn't know dudes where using them to mean "gay" lots of posters on here think I insulted them when I was trying to niceJust so everybody knows, I have always used the rainbow as a positive expression on this forum. I daresay I was the first to use it a lot and it was mostly to indicate something gay. In my opinion there are 2 gays, one good and one bad. Some people might say 'that's so gay', which is bad. I might say 'let's be gay', which is good.
Sometime between the time I took a hiatus and when I came back they co-opted my gay. So from this point forward rainbows are always 'let's be gay', which is good. I will attempt to hide these rainbows from my wife if you in fact do the same.
