literally nobody under 50 watches CBC . it is a bottomless hole the government throws money in to .it served its purpose in the past when there was 2 channels coast to coast but that was a long time ago

Disagree. The vast majority of our news outlets are now owned by entities in the US. The CBC serves an important function in Canada.

The CBC does need to redesign some of their programs. However I believe that it would be missed if it was shut down. Specifically CBC radio. Shows like Cross Country Check Up, As It Happens, Quirks & Quarks, Under the Influence, White Coat Black Art, and their comedy shows bring a lot of value to interesting or under represented segments of Canada.

I don't feel as strongly about CBC television.

Canada is disappearing here, and it's happening fast. The Canadians are just one of many competing population groups and they're losing ground everywhere.

The Canadians have voted themselves off the island, so to speak.
