wrap your head around this one .the have provinces send money to ottawa to be distributed to the have not provinces...somehow ontario and quebec are have not provinces . BC, Alberta and Saskatchewan send money east and nothing ever comes back .
Doesn't seem that hard to figure out, tbh. Quebec spends money like it expires and no one in the maritimes works. The Ontario one always kind of cracks me up. When you're talking federal budgets $500m is fuck all, and like half the population lives here. PEI taking more than Ontario is fucking hilarious though.
i have no problem with the maritimes being considered have not provinces but quebec and ontario? quebec has all the social programs on our dollar and they still hate us . ontario is not a have not province and for the last decade alberta is not rich. i can understand why when oil is booming they have to contribute but oil aint boomed in a long time
