I really couldnt believe it when I saw video of it.

Its not like he lost a family member or something. He lost some fucking press credentials.

There is absolutely no way that you would catch me on video sobbing and crying like that over something so trivial. Especially when its seen by thousands of people.

I would probably change my name and move to Cambodia or something.

What are your guys' thoughts on this?

Me personally, I cant take him seriously anymore and Im seriously considering unfollowing him on twitter.

Dude felt like he has lost his livelihood, I can understand it, just like I can understand a fighter's tears after a loss.

That video to me anyway seemed very contrived. Sounded like a bit of victim mentality. He came off as playing both sides and when he talked about certain things it seemed as if it was his fuck you in retaliation for not getting to do the interviews he wanted or break the stories he wanted while he was an employee.

You have probably, thankfully, never had to face the possibility that everything you have worked for, for your entire life, might be taken from you, and the ability to provide for your family is in jeopardy.

My job has set rules and requirements. Ive never broken them to try to stir up controversy.

If I did and was let go, you wouldnt catch me crying on video

So that's the troll angle you're taking. Nice choice.

There's a difference between a job and a career.

He lost nothing other then free backstage at ufc events. His employer already said they were standing by him, he could still buy a ticket and go to and report on events. He still has his podcast and has the ability to get whichever guests he wants. You don't ask for special treatment from someone then piss on their shoes.

I'm a big fan of Ariel, and I support him 100%, but the tears at the very end were starting to get tiresome. Had to skip past the part where he was just sobbing and repeating himself. He knew he was on camera, and he could have kept his composure a bit better if he tried.

TQN is like that fisherman that throws his line into the pond and catches 3 fish with 1 hook.

You're saying he broke rules, which is completely false, so I'm posting in a troll thread.
He broke no rules and neither did the ufc. They are a private company and can chose which media outlets they'd like to give special access to. They felt disrespected that someone they have done a lot for wouldn't allow them to break their own big announcements. Why would they want to continue giving him special access. Neither of them were in the wrong. And taking his credentials away does nothing to hamper him from continuing to do his "job" as a journalist.

Zuffa can pull the press credentials for whoever they like, however, they will also be judged by the public for the reasons that they do. This was petty and ridiculous, and makes them look like a joke. Fertitta wants to be taken seriously and own an NFL franchise someday, I can tell you that the day he applies for a license they are going to look back on things like this and it may just be enough for them to say, thanks, but no thanks. They don't need the drama and poor judgement.

What constitutes as breaking the rules as a gas station clerk? Stealing a Kit Kat or something?

If the company I worked for was coming out with a big sale or promotion and didnt want it announced until a certain time and I decided to take to twitter and announce it I would expect to face consequences.

This is a no brainer.

You certainly wouldnt catch me on video crying and having a pity party.

It's equally as petty and ridiculous to break a companies big announcement while you're sitting at their event enjoying inside access and extra benefits from that company. Again what they took from him did not effect his ability to do his job in anyway. The pity party and the tmz drama this whole ordeal has become is just sad.

It's his job, it's not petty for him to break news. They are working an event, not some special guests there for a party. It's a mutually beneficial relationship. The UFC aren't doing them favours by having them there.
