He was burned by just about every establishment person in his first presidency. Guy has had a minute to plot out his appointees. They won't all be 100%, but he certainly knows who NOT to appoint.

I would have gone 2 stat myself. That 3rd star is where the beurocrats really weed out patriots. 3 best Generals I know personally couldn't get their 3rd star and are the most amazing people I've met. Outside of Hoss I've never met a 3+ star I thought was worth a fuck

Yep, and he is cutting them if they don't do their job, he just got rid of the acting head of ICE he appointed last month because he wasn't deporting enough people fast enough.
