Designating cartels terrorist groups won't work without an actual invasion of Mexico and that might turn out like vietnam because mexicans are resilient AF and the geography of mexico might even be more brutal than vietnam. Well they've invaded countries for supporting even smaller groups of terrorists... So..

But I don't think they'd have to, Mexico will do it for them and USA will give them some support.

I don't even get the fentynal thing seems counter productive to kill your customers even if it saves them money they should cut the drugs with something less lethal.

I'm not against invading mexico im just pointing out just calling them a terrorist org is only the beginning it will take a far larger effort to get rid of cartels it will probably be a 20 year war with a lot of casualties.
