It seems like it right now with the conservatives sidelined due to the prorogation and the liberals are running unopposed through their leadership race, but once an election is called, or parliament goes back into session and they actually have to go to question period or run against the cons.. they're done.

When the election is called the LPC, who has 100% media support, will call PP "Trump lite" and bill themselves as the only people that can protect Canadians from Donald Trump.

when the election is called the cpc will once again have a platform.

the media was always 100% supportive of the liberals and pierre broke through because his ideas resonate with Canadians. once they're out there on display again no amount of media manipulation will swing the election
