Yeah, if done right it does. Birth certificate and SSN (both a pain in the ass to get if your mom didn't hold that shit for you).

When I got my "real I.D" I had to show my full birth certificate and a variety of other documents I actually had to go get a newer birth certificate because my old one was just an abstract which is like half a birth certificate. When immigrants become naturalized citizens of the u.s they also get a piece of paper that has their photo on it and their identity or at least their american identity is verified.
