Indeed. They built a highly functioning society out of some hard ass land, all while being sactioned by much of the world. Had two parallel societies going, and ever since so called democracy won out, the standard of living has plummeted by almost every metric, especially for the blacks.

I don't think so . He was in the FBI , it's not like he was a complete nieve outsider. He knows the deal and made out like he was going to be the one with the balls to do something.
In any case it's no excuse, he basically campaigned on it and talked all that shit.

The way I understand it an EO is little more than a written opinion that the president strongly urges people to follow, but are effectively meaningless.

I'm getting the sense this presidency will go down as a mirage of change.
