I tend to agree with much of what Carsons says, but it's clear he is a gate keeper and is there to control the narratives and how far they go. I said on another thread, no clue about Fuentes other than he is more over the target than the other conservative talking heads. Carson disparaged Pat Buchanan back in the day and he can't blame that on being naive.

I like that Trump is the only person trying to tackle this problem, but I'm afraid it is unwinnable. You can't stop the thugs from being thugs

Not going to "look" good when federals are putting in work on urban youths or screeching college kids.

I wonder what the rules of engagement will be and if they'll have lethal force, cause they shoot back in DC.

The biggest thing that strikes me ( and agree with everything you said ) is how I've heard tucker say verbatim " I hate CIA, nobody hates the CIA more than me" .
He said the same thing about Joe kent " nobody hates the CIA more than Joe kent "
Both of them are CIA. Definitely the latter.

And the main thing that sets alarm bells off is how he lied about knowing hos dad was in the CIA. He's always downplayed it but it's absolutely absurd for him to pretend he didn't know his father was involved in the CIA.
He's absolutely fucking lying his ass off on that massively.
He's expecting people to believe that he was fully unaware he didn't know his father was involved in the CIA before other people who learned a google search did.

He's lying because he'd have to admit he's in the CIA if he went down that path.

I am not following.

As far as I can remember of who Tucker Carlson was & his story, it hasn't changed.
- He didn't know what his dad did until he did. So he liked the CIA.
- He applied for the CIA.
- He didn't get accepted, went into journalism eventually.
- Now hates the CIA after learning how they are & what they do.

What's the issue?

Because, aside from the fact there's clips of tucker saying he knew his dad was involved in the CIA before he died. And now recently saying he didn't know until after he died, it's absolutely absurd for people to believe he didn't know his dad was in the CIA. His dad wasn't even that deep undercover. People ( the public)knew he was in the CIA before tucker apparently.
I heard his dad was in the CIA at least 3 years ago. Apparently tucker only found out 5 months ago .
I don't by for a second he grew up not knowing. But then dose anyone really think he actually applied for the CIA having no idea his dad worked there.
So he had to know. But apparently he hates them even though his family was involved.
But what's likely to me is when he applied he was accepted off the record. He was " sheep dipped " . That's the term for it.
It's the same thing people believe ( myself included) happened to Timothy McCullough Veigh .
So once you go down that path that he knew his father was involved the whole time then you have to question what he did know when he was giving all of his horrible takes on things for 20 years. He said he was lied to into having those opinions, but was he really?
He's basically saying things like " nobody hates the CIA more than Joe kent , because Joe kent IS CIA. ". But Joe kent isn't open about that.
He's saying that people should elect a politician that is in the CIA. Think about how nutty that is.

That probably dosent clarify things perfectly but the main point is tucker at minimum has to be downplaying his knowledge of his father. Maybe it could be called a little white lie by some , but when you think about it it's actually not a little white lie , it's most likely a huge lie.
