I don't have kids, if I gain the fortune of having them some day I would also be fiercely protective and quick to bark back at anyone dissing my kids too, but it is really better to reply to that with class although that is tough and I myself have gone against my own advice at times also. I just think at this point it's better for everyone , including you, if you don't try to defend that comment.

@MMAHAWK is a a really good dude, there are hundreds of people on this forum, so not everyone is a solid person, but that guy is from what I gather, you get ganged up on and I can see why you would react aggressively but he is not a guy you should direct that too in my perspective of course.
I can see why that would irritate you but that comment he read irritates him, so there is that aspect. I just think he is a good guy.
