I used to work for a Korean Media Company and back then there were almost zero Korean Media covering American MMA. (and i believe at the time only Korean fighter before StunGun were all the mutts like Denis Kang or Bj Penn) so every time DongHyun was on the card(since UFC84), I'd request a press pass. Even though my roll wasn't a reporter for the company, Company didn't care cuz I'm spending my own money for travel and at the same time the Company got exposure as well as the UFC. UFC would approve the press pass I think because lack of other Asian media except Japanese (who were there for Akiyama but he's actually full blood Korean and bigger celebrity in Korea). All I had to do was send (UFC) some form of article regarding the event from our media and they were cool with it and looked like we could have got the press pass consistently. Eventually I quit the company and no more cool ass press pass. The whole press-pass idea was from
