This whole thing has changed my perspective. The problem isnt the new WME / WWE Era.
The problem is us old heads as fans. We keep being angry at something for not being something
else.
We don't get upset at a square for not being a circle do we?
Like it or not this IS the state of MMA today. Its up to us as fans to choose to either get with
the program and enjoy it or find something else. But sticking around being angry at a product
for not being a different product is kinda silly on our part.
Message to the fighters: Stop being so dense. Curtis Blaydes is up here bitching about not
getting the shot. I like Blaydes but what the hell was he thinking?? Did he actually think he
was going to get a title shot? Are fighters really that dense??
Thats fucking more stupid to think then the WWE farce we saw last night. The guy has
zero personality and no one outside of us old heads even knows he exists.
NO... you are not getting a title shot over Brock. Plain a simple.
Fighters bitch and bitch but never organize to do shit about it.
Either stand up together...ORGANIZE and do something about it or put on a
clown suit like Colby and get a Title shot.
I hated Colby until last night. Now I realize he's only doing what he has to. At least
he is doing something besides bitching about a square not being a circle.

I am not angry anymore and that is the problem for me. A lot of things led up to this point for me and this was just the last straw.
Like I said, my Saturday nights are free now. When I signed up here I posted quite a bit but not so much lately since I haven't been watching many fights ( last one was Whitaker and Romero and that was the only fight on the card I watched).
Believe me I accept the state of the UFC now and sadly I won't miss it.
I hear ya. I've been over it for a while now. Not over MMA but over being upset that it
isnt something else. I still enjoy it... just not nearly as much

I found myself skipping so many cards over this last year and that would have been unheard of to me before. Last night just flipped that " fuck this shit" switch in my head. Shame to because of what DC accomplished last night.
they should show that clip to any kid considering a career in mma.
