all of our old heroes have aged out of the sport. there are no K1 legends left . all the pride guys are 40+ . it would be nice to see some bigger guys but i am not sure if matt mitrione vs ben rothwell would have the same effect. i suppose they could drag up some heavyweight russians and brazilians from the B and C leagues though . i think during covid they made a decision to cater to the japanese audience and are not really trying to appeal to the north americans anymore
