Isn't it obvious? Dana doesn't want a marketable champion so he gave Pereira a dump truck full of money so he'd let Magomed "The Charisma Vacuum" Ankalaev win. Now Alex and Dana both make less money going forward, which of course is what they both want.
Makes sense, the don't call him Magomed "biggest cash cow in UFC history, Conor Macgregor who?" Ankalaev.
At our fight party last night I was the only one who picked Ank to win. Everyone thought I was a retard but who has Pereira beat at LHW, Hill a washed Jiri? LHW is the weeks division and He Ran from MW after Izzy KOd him. UFC hype machines always go down especially after living the high life!

Hugging and stalling you must of been watching the wrong fight. Pereira got saved by the bell in round 2 was about to be finished. He was frozen all night and just threw calf kicks it's like he had no answer to Ank. The 4th Ank got the clinch and Pereira couldn't do shit Ank was piecing him up in the clinch on the cage. It's like The game plan goes Alex was to calf kick trying to Connor him but that never happened so he basically froze as there was no plan B. Another UFC hype machine busted!
Yup the hype machine busts as usual, but I don’t think Pereira does. The UFC does this all the time - hype someone to all time great status way too early. Don’t let that fool you into thinking Pereira is not a good fighter. Personally I think he’ll bounce back and still be good. He’ll remain a contender. It’s not like he got destroyed.

When you've got orthodox v southpaw, he who keeps his lead foot outside of his opponent's lead foot has all the advantages.
Ank did that. That's how he was able to consistently touch Alex with power where Alex could not.
