Too bad for Sean, he really seemed to have it put together for this one. Also kind of feel bad for all of WMMA. There was a time where I enjoyed it. The early Invicta events were pretty fun. Ronda was a good show. It has had its moments. Good for them for doing it, honestly. But holy shit is it no longer interesting to me.

I wanted Pena to get smashed so bad but feel buyers remorse for seeing Harrison also felate Trump. Hope Nunes smokes here now even though I’m a judo guy.
Sean started off better with range control and strikes from distance but I feel he should have kept up with the front kicks and jabs to keep Merab from pushing fwd. Despite Merab also trying to sportwash Trump, I’m glad he finished someone finally. That’s his first sub in the UFC period I think. So he is one of the rare fighters getting better as a champ.
Umar just needs one more round of cardio to beat him though. Merab ain’t finishing Umar or 10-8’ing him.
