"Damage" would be a stretch. DDP landed a combo late in the 4th and Khamzat back pedaled the fuck out of there.....and then went back to the takedown.

We've been hearing that for 4 years now. Khamzat is a decision fighter, who finishes guys who shouldn't be fighting at the top level of the sport.
 
Good comments by Anthony Johnson (is that what the LHW commentator’s name again?), DDP’s usual strength buck off moves from the bottom weren’t gonna work. He had to have some real technique and he didn’t show that. Good RNC defense but not much more than that.

You better tell Whittaker that. He would tap Poatan pretty quickly. Yes Poatan has the striking threat but unless he catches him with a knee off a double leg, he ain’t staying upright long enough to deliver with it.
 
RDR has no chance unfortunately. I don't know how good Caio's wrestling defense is. Fluffy has the best chance by sheer willpower, but even then it's a long shot.
 
A lot more cope than I thought with Khamzat winning. Yes it’s fair to have wanted more damage and a sub finish but DDP despite having no resistance to getting taken down and giving dominant position did well to fight the RNC and back hooks. But for someone whose only chance was to get the finish when 2 rounds, I thought Khamzat showed the IQ to not blow his wad and give up position. If the finish was there, it was there, if it didn’t come, keep the position. Pretty standard.

Then there are the standard Muslim brown people hating necks who think they are the threat to world peace despite what we have seen in 2025 right in front of your eyes prioritizing Israel over everything of yours.

If you haven't realized that a guy who lost his title 6 years ago and has been a .500 fighter since is washed up, you might want to not play the authority on fight predictions.
