Fair and logically thought out point but I'm all emotional right now and just want Reebok to bleed.People are shitting on the UFC when it was more likely arena security that said no to this.

Youre totally right...and thanks homie..Step dads get bad wrap a lot...cuz it's hard to take orders from a guy who's not your dad technically and you don't understand as a kid the dynamic of the situation...I thought because he made me mind, do chores and had a bed time that he was a jerk, but I eventually realized it we structure that a man who cares gives a kid...Fishing and sports bonded me and him..As the biological parent of one & the stepdad of a grown man (I started dating my my wife when he was 5), I approve of their work.
It takes a village, & it seems to to me the both made outstanding contributions.
Rest in Peace, Tony, & thanks for that for stroke of genius with one of my favorite words
My stepson & I didn't talk for a year, although it wasn't all his fault. But we're close now. I was a stoner party animal with trouble at work. Not that I was real drug addict or drunk or anything, but for lack of a better term, I've been clean & sober for over 8 years now.Youre totally right...and thanks homie..Step dads get bad wrap a lot...cuz it's hard to take orders from a guy who's not your dad technically and you don't understand as a kid the dynamic of the situation...I thought because he made me mind, do chores and had a bed time that he was a jerk, but I eventually realized it we structure that a man who cares gives a kid...Fishing and sports bonded me and him..
his brother aka my uncle is a CRAZY s.o.b that i could tell yall stories that would blow you're minds ...and is the reason I have a phobia of driving and never had a license..Hes currently serving life over a murder where he stabbed a guy around 50x that he says made a gay pass at him...but idk if that the case...crazy shit
Based on what? People where masks at sporting events all the time. I somehow lawless Brazil was where people decided to draw a line in the sand because "It's unsafe that we can't see their faces!!!" It seem much more likely that the people who have outright banned unapproved sponsors would be the ones not allowing the sponsored masks into the event.Fair and logically thought out point but I'm all emotional right now and just want Reebok to bleed.![]()
Great advice. I've never been happier than I've been since they blacked out UFC in my area a couple of years ago.Fuck this shit
second shit post from you ive seen in 2 minutes. youre stupid and unfunny always.Good. It was fucking stupid and unfunny anyway.

Doesn't work that way my friend. We at Reebok will not allow free marketing to take place. Thank you - Reebok ManagamentAnd some on Twitter are saying it's because of the sponsor on the headband. Who gives a flying fuck? Like anyone is going to pay attention to it, as it's being televised....hell, it's so small nobody would probably even see it. I'm fucking hot over this lol.
You seem to have bizarrely glossed over the gaming company ad on the masksThis is the dumbest shit. They've got a HW champ that isn't exactly a big draw. He goes out and spends his own money to drum up attention for himself, and the promotion...and they shit can it. This would have been great (and free) promotional video for them, Werdum, and the event...45k people wearing the masks...shown on FS1 and ESPN. They're fucking idiots sometimes.
and all the fighters are pieces of shit too? cause I bet you don't give them any money eitherUfc is a piece of shit. Luckily I have never paid them any money.
No, I noted it. And still think it's petty as fuck on Zuffa's part. You seem to have bizarrely glossed over the gaming company ad on the masks
lol no it isn't petty. No, I noted it. And still think it's petty as fuck on Zuffa's part.
C'mon man, it's petty as hell. Who the fuck is going to see, or pay attention to, that little ass logo on TV (PPV)? No one. I get the company line "if we let Werdum it, everyone will want to do it". That's bullshit as well. What other fighters are going to spend $25k or whatever it was for face masks of themselves? No one else has the troll face shtick like Werdum. Mark Hunt or Robbie Lawler just going to pop headbands on and get masks made up with Gatorade on the headbands, for the fuck of it? The entire situation is absurd.lol no it isn't petty.
the reebok deal was pure greed from the UFC, and reebok's terms were absolutely retarded, but now that it's in place, they have to honour the contract. You wouldn't see a coca cola ad with product placement for other companies, even if it would actually be mutually beneficial. I'm sure there are cases of co-advertising but you certainly can't expect the UFC to just do it because Werdum made some effort.
maybe if he had actually approached them about it beforehand he would've been told that it's a no go because of the ad, but either he was incredibly dense and didn't consider it, or tried to force it through by having too many fans turning up with them to be denied.
only has himself to blame either way
NOBODY gets a free PPV broadcast plug of that nature, maybe issues or not with it being online gaming but either way, the only way to do it fair is never allow it.No, I noted it. And still think it's petty as fuck on Zuffa's part.
I guess this is just my personal problem with how corporate the UFC has become over the past 6-7 years. Before FOX and Reebok, this wouldn't have been an issue at all. Dana and Lorenzo would have loved a fighter taking the initiative to try and promote themselves and the event...sponsor on headband or not. There are pro's & con's with corporate UFC. IMO, this type of shit is one of the con's.NOBODY gets a free PPV broadcast plug of that nature, maybe issues or not with it being online gaming but either way, the only way to do it fair is never allow it.
They have a very limited way of thinking which may work to their benefit in some areas, but get exposed in situations like this. It's a young sport, eventually Bellator and other orgs will force the UFC to adapt to allow fighters to individualize themselves. It's pretty sad how they are trying to marginalize the individuality of the fighter. Being an MMA company based in the U.S., where personal liberty is paramount, they need to loosen the reigns a little. They must accept the fact that the fighters will eventually run this shit to a certain extent. Hopefully not to the level of boxing. This is the dumbest shit.
Well everyone knew what was gonna happen, UFC and Reebok wanna be something they will never be.C'mon man, it's petty as hell.
