Wow I recorded and just watched it. Amazing performance by Thompson. Completely broke him down with precision strikes. Almost looked a little like Ronda Holm or Franklin Silva. Perfect performance and a nice way to save a dull main card.

It isn't hard to believe, he looked considerably smaller than he ever has. Might be time for the 5'7 Hendricks to head down to LW.

Louis Giodano, the guy who worked with Johny, has worked as a nutritionist for Eddie Gordon before. Eddie started out as a fat 205er, but became too small for his fight at 185 and got out wrestled. Hendricks went from one snake oil salesman to another.

To be fair, those aren't the best examples, but if there's one thing I've learned watching MMA it's that wrestlers are good at 2 things, takedowns and excuse making.
