I think this goes to decision after a hard battle between hunt and stipe. Im thinking Stipe takes it.

I'm seeing Hunt winning via counter left hook and walkoff KO. Sounds cliche with Hunt of course but I'll post some gifs.

Stipe likes to pressure guys as he did against JDS. He seems to over commit too often leaving him open for counters when dealing with a guy like Hunt who has a chin that can eat those jabs and straights. Here he is over committing with Junior and he pays for it but the left hook JDS throws as a counter is Marks finisher. That sequence could of been the end if that was Hunts fist.


Another very similar sequence where Roys left grazes. Again its Stipe leaping and lunging in that Hunts can take advantage of.



Heres Stipe going for the kill which is great but he looks to be getting sloppy and off balance once his opponent starts to retreat. Hunt isn't the type to back up much let alone retreat quickly straight back, its here where I see him baiting Stipe in then planting himself for a nice shot.


Stipe lunging in more. Hunt has great timing and accuracy and I think he can exploit these risks that Miocic takes


Now I can't remember exactly how Struve initially hurt Stipe but note the time below. Miocic looks done, gassed and unable to offer any resistance to the hands of Stephen who hits nowhere near what Mark does. I my be way off here but I'm going with Hunt via KO.

It looks like Struve thumbed him in the eye. Never seen that before.

Big upset in the first fight. Knocked down a solid flyweight twice in the first, then finished him on the second one. Nice head movement in the pocket, got in there, stayed in there and hit those combinations. Great performance.

To put it in perspective, John Lineker failed to finish Ozkillic.
