After the Finnish media reported that communication services between Finland and Germany were disrupted due to an inexplicable failure of an underwater telecommunications cable, Andrius Šemeškevičius, the technology manager of the Telia company, says that the communication cable between Lithuania and Sweden has also been interrupted.
"The cable was cut on Sunday morning, around 10 a.m. Lithuanian time. The systems immediately reported that we had lost contact. The investigation and clarification continued, and it was understood that it was violated," A. Šemeškevičius tells LRT TELEVISION program "Svarbi valanda".
