USADA suspends B.J. Penn six months

It could have been any amount OVER 50ml the way I read it. The USADA states "..prohibited use of an IV in excess of 50 ML in a six-hour period", meaning BJ could of been using up to four litres in a six hour period ( four litres would be the max used during that duration).

Nobody has come out and said the amount in his system. Has BJ or anyone ever given an explanation of WHY he was using the IV in the first place?

What difference does it make? It seems to me he is accepting his punishment like a man and not making excuses. Its all some conspiracy by the other fighters because they dont want to fight him anyway. When it comes out that some young stud from Jacksons defects to tri star we will have our rat.

What is with all these 6 months suspensions? We heard that 2 years was gonna be the normal it seems with all the fighters getting popped the minimum is now down to 6 months. This shows PED use and IV use is alive and will be for years to come.

Is it any coincidence that GSP announces his comeback, Conor moves all the way up to 170, and Brock comes back for just one fight all while BJ is suspended for some trumped up charge that was easier to accept than fight?
