What does that women in the blue have in her lap?
For $20 bucks I got to chill out with a tribe, they told me their history, cooked us a traditional dish and I got a badass selfie... oh and afterwards I found out they were descendants of the amazon head hunters lol
That would be badassHumpback Whale Watching $20 bucks for 5 people....
Walking stick and fish carrying bag I think. What does that women in the blue have in her lap?
Also, that guy standing up has that look in his eye
Costa Rica is intriguing. Quickly moving up the list. Fuck a bunch or overcrowded, all-inclusive resorts. I'm looking for a small place in the rain forest, where my kids can see howler monkeys, tropical birds, sloths, iguanas, etc. And if we want to jump in the SUV and head to the beach, we can be there in 10-15 minutes. Costa Rica appears to be loaded with places like this.Spent a summer in Costa Rica moons ago and went for a week Dec 2013, it's got loads to do if you're a nature lover and range of lodging from super basic $5/day to luxury just depending on what vibe you want and if you want secluded vs more urban, etc, etc. I'm jealous of your vacay already. I am constantly travel planning and I research flights 2-3x/day just for the fun of it. Today I obsessed over everything Cuba, I have to get there before the doors open up and we ruin it with our homogenized fast food American death grip.
That it is! You can get to pretty much any corner of the country in approx 4 hours drive from San Jose and the whole country is so bio-diverse that each region has beach, rainforest, some have volcanos, etc. You really can experience quite a lot there which is one of the things I really liked about it.Costa Rica is intriguing. We went for the traditional backpackers lodging(hostels). My wife and daughter are diva's but slightly adventurous so I thought what the hell and suggest hostels expecting a big ole slice of go fuck yourself, but they suprised me and said yes. Average Hostel was 7 bucks a night per person. We weren't staying with random strangers, we had our own rooms, showers. Some were eh while others were "holy shit can I live here"?Ecuador is beautiful. How much was lodging and how was it? And yes, I would shit myself on that zipline also.
Lol yeah definitely couldn't eat that or the fish that was pictured earlier. We went for the traditional backpackers lodging(hostels). Oh and I ate a guinea pig... fucking tasted like rabbit wrapped in chicken skin AMAZING
Dude it was delicious seriously. They chop the head off so it isn't staring at you.No way I would eat that son! Put hair on your chest?
Nah, fuck all that..........Slocan, British Columbia brother. Beers, bears and bomb fires. Magic mushrooms, misty mountains, mary jane and magical mystery tours! Good times, bad rhymes and zero crimes! Come one, come all, Slocan is awesome in the fall..........see you when you get here!
Go sell the wife and kids on it now. We'll have a blast, I promise you............even if you end up divorced by the time you leave, it might be worth considering!
You know what? You've got my attention! I know we've discussed our proximity of location before, but you've really got me feeling like having a few beers with you right now. Mushrooms would require a bit of beer time first to get to know who I'm trippin with, then something outdoors for the grand finale, lol! Not sure when, but some day it would be fun! Before it was all over we could report back to these fuckers with some selfies from the back of a cop car or a hospital room. Good times eh!
I live 3 hours west of Slocan, better weather. easier chicks....but we need to get together homie! I got a bunch of shrooms in my freezer right now!
I am about to go on EI as I got laid off 4 days ago. I got LOTS of free time coming up over the next 4 - 5 months.... actually thinking of doing a long distance hike. 10 - 15 days long, 10-15km a day type thing. intersted? You know what? Just saw this post now. I'm not sure where I'm gonna be yet when the fight rolls around as I am likely hooking up with a fire fighting crew this season, and by all accounts it should be quite the fire season up in these BC hills after the dry winter we had. If for any reason I am around, I would love to take a road trip, and if not for the fight I will be up for it when it works for both of us. Would be good times, I know that! I'd also say here would be great but my place is so fucking small and with the wife and kids there is just nowhere to hide at 7am when they are getting up for breakfast while we are thinking 'bout going to sleep. Camping is always great out here though, but I wouldn't mind a road trip........we'll talk more!I am about to go on EI as I got laid off 4 days ago. I am down for beers etc, wanna get together for the Aldo - Connor fight? your place or mine, either is good!!
Exactly. I've already nipped that shit in the bud. They are going to Hawaii in September and we are going wherever in October.Fuck reading the entire thread to say that vacationing with the extended family is a NO NO NO.
Go anywhere were you, your wife and kids can do what you want. So Freeport from the 2 choices.
