It's not a poem. They are lyrics to Metallica song, probably a bit before your time.

What say you Psychotropic Wanderlust @Psychotropic Wanderlust ?

Recent destinations?
nothing yet. the first few months of this year went incredible (spent a week camping in the wilderness on Kauai, then a week on a music festival party cruise to Jamaica). but after that I havent gone anywhere except for a few concerts in Vancouver. spent some time off work (5 months) and then setting up my dispensary and engineering biz took a lot of time and cash. then I got a 1 year ban from the USA (you know ALL about that haha)

but this coming year is going to be EPIC.

on the list so far:

Peru / Easter Island (flights to Peru have been purchased, going in May)
driving to Inuvik, NWT. on the edge of the arctic sea. its the most northern place you can drive to in Canada.
Sept. 16th 2016 I am going to the USA, probably Seattle. probably your house hahaha.
christmas 2016 we havent decided yet, but its between Kauai again or So-Cal

Been to Ireland several times. I went on a sailing trip from I.a. trying to go to Mississippi on an 80 year old wooden boat that eventually sank.

In February I'm going to Puerto Rico to get on another boat for a month or two. I'll try to post some pictures.

I do, but it's in a lake. My friend who had the boat that sank bought another boat. He's sailing down Florida now and then the Bahamas for a few weeks and then on south where he'll pick me up.

Story behind it? :)

Short version is my buddy had the boat in I.a. and wanted to take it home to Mississippi. We sailed down the west coast, picked up my
dad in cabo, and moved on south. Shit was constantly going wrong on the boat because it was so old, but that was expected.

Around 9 one night, and 100 miles off of nicaragua, i found water coming in. Couldn't be fixed without taking the boat out of the water so i started bailing and my friend tried to slow the leak. The next morning the tanker got to us before she went down.

Could it have been critical? How much was it worth?

Critical as in us dying? Yes. Very much so. We were on a sinking boat 100 miles from land.

My friend put around 60k in the boat. It also wasn't insured. Total loss. Shit happens.
