General Watching Cheers for the first time. Post more 80s sitcoms

1. I think I just finished Cheers. Streams on old shoes can be missing episodes. Did it end with Diane coming back and her and Sam getting back together? They announce it to the bar and everyone basically rolls their eyes. Norm "congrats" them and it ends.

2. I've started Frasier. They plan on taking dad out to a fancy restaurant but their reservation gets lost and his dad takes the boys to a steakhouse. The waitress mentions the dress code and they ask for forgiveness (thinking she's speaking of their dad) when she takes out some clippers and cuts their ties. I was ROFLing hard.

Both shows done by Burrows?

My favorite line of the whole series is Woody responding to "you can catch more flies with honey than vinegar" with "you can get the most flies with a dead possum".

Is Daphne a Scottish accent? It sounds more like that than British. Maybe its cockney. Its really unfortunate as she is a sexy little smokestack.

Barely found the whole episode yesterday. It was great. I just saw the Frasier where Sam visits to get advice about a girl he was to marry. Great as well.

Season 2 Frasier finale was fire. Its his dad's bday and everyone is losing their shit at eachother. Frasier, as usual begins mediating. He finally loses it himself and confesses that everyones' problems are taking a toll on him and he wants to be left alone for awhile. The gang goes down for a bbq that's happening downstairs and Eddie rolls over on the couch by him begging for pets. He begrudgingly accepts and fade to black. Perfect.

Great episode. Season 5 episode 5. He gets the key to the city but misses his own parade to talk to his driver through his ex wife remarrying and moving the kids out of state. This pops up at the end:1000042601.jpg
Pre 9/11 oof

I've never seen a single episode of Frasier, he was my least favorite on cheers, should I give it a shot? Everyone loves Raymond sucked balls but everyone loved it.

That was just happenstance; I visited a doughnut shop. His fatass is at a doughnut shop 75% of the time!

Lol, remember when he was ranting about trader joe's forever. We went down to portland for something and decided to stop in there. I am walking around and who do I see? Gritty!

I just walked up to him and said I thought you hated trader joes, then walked away.

A thread was made about it, I said yeah, that was me. He said it really freaked him out. I did my job!

Fraser and Niles are center to the show, but they're usually the butt of the joke given how far they're up their own asses. It's the secondary characters that most people watch for. Marty, Daphne, Eddie, Roz, etc. It's a good show, a comfort watch.
