You're so pissed off all the time. I hope you are different in real life and you just use this place here to vent or something.
You must confuse me with somebody else. Or project something into my posts that isn't there.

If big government, they will have influence, but at least a government has many influences and is subject to change every couple years. Can be bad change too of course, but can be good change.
Well, the government can be changed by a vote, but a company can be changed by competition. If a business does not want to deal with jews, we can let the governement force them to, or we can let the public decide, and they most likely will go to their competition who will accept jews. So market can also correct behaviors that are harmful to us consumers, because we can speak as a group also with our currency. You cannot do such a thing with government as you will be locked up :)

The consequences then, are so much more severe when dealing with government.

That can probably only happen in a regulated market without super-monopolies.

Do we really have a lot of choice, or is it only an illusion?
So, Microsoft will bow out of the smartphone market. Now it's really only Google or Apple. And even before, does it really matter who you throw your data to out of these three?

Good questions to ask. And I agree, the market should never be without regulation at all, we need laws that ensure fair competition. We also need to question, how much regulation is enough, to what point is regulation still serving the people, etc.

Yes, we constantly need to ask those questions and adapt. It's all in flux and always will be.

Definitely been something super bugging me lately. I've been pretty anti apple products forever but all this nonsense silencing guys like rogan, Peterson, saad, and the like really have me considering voting with my $$$ my next round of devices.
