This one is for Daglord @Daglord diet butcher @Diet Butcher megatherium @Bib who are three of the coolest guys you will meet online despite one being a shill, one a noddle armed Chinaman and the other being Canadian, suffering from the early stages of alzheimer's and who only recently woke up from his liberal cuckold coma he was in the last 25 years.

One track from AIC Unplugged session in particular has been on repeat. I can feel and empathize Layne Staley's struggle, his pain, his struggles with addiction, the cry for help, that realization that we are in a race against time and that we will all inevitably die. I can feel his issues with feeling that you can have many "friends" and "family" yet you can still have demons and your suffering not be understood. This a Man who supposedly had it all (chase misprinted lies) but still wasn't comfortable with himself or truly happy.

We chase misprinted lies
We face the path of time
And yet I fight
And yet I fight
This battle all alone
No one to cry to
No place to call home

Oooh...Oooh...
Oooh...Oooh...

My gift of self is raped
My privacy is raked
And yet I find
And yet I find
Repeating in my head
If I can't be my own
I'd feel better dead

R.I.P. Layne Staley.

Hip Hop/Rap seems the music of choice here and I'm a fan of much of it as well. enjoy all kinds of music because it all tells a story and has a place in life depending on situations. Harry Fraud is one of the best producers in the game imo.

I love his "wavy" sound and think he might even be in the Top 5 Producers if not now very soon along with the T-Minus/Dre/Dj Premier/Alchemist/ Noah 40 Shebib/ DJ Mustard's of the world. Clams Casino is another cat I'm feeling right now who does a lot of work with A$AP Rocky

One of my favorites of Adfrift mixtape that is quality from start to finish. Love that 808.

Another Harry Fraud joint who does lots of work with Curren$y aka Spitta Andretti.

Love that is samples the classic 1970's UK prog rock ELO (Electric light Orchestra) track another Heart breaks which my pops used to have on Vinyl and play all the time back in the day. Harry Fraud always digging deep.

One more form Harry Fraud for now. Dude has done lots of work with Action Bronson (Action's best imo) and no matter what you think of Riff Raff who with his prolific output he is going to have some terrible tracks. With that said you can also find some hidden gems lost in a sea of shit.

Song samples a rare 1976 Dexter Wansel track called rings of Saturn.

I grew up in the South, well technically South Florida while which still elements of what is considered the South is uniquely different in some ways.

I Was in HS when the Southern Rap/crunck/bounce first burst on the Scene with Hypnotize Minds (3 6 Mafia) Cash Money (Juvenile, Lil Wayne B.G.) and No Limit (Master P, C Murder, Mystikal) set the Hip Hop and music world on fire. Now it basically is the most popular/mainstream form of Hip Hop which even with the late 90's explosion has to surprise many people in the industry.

Even though I was a huge three six guy because of the unique DJ Paul/Juicy J beats that had a gothic/ classical vibe they still were not even close in matching the Quality and class that Outkast was doing.

Love this track although many complain about the George Clinton talking in the background but i think just fine. Nice HQ youtube sample and another track off what is easily their best album "aquemini" and what many consider one of the best ever in the Hip Hop/Rap Genre.

I saw Straight Outta of Compton a few weeks ago and thought it was alright. I can empathize with the director because it seems he was in a position where he was trying to do something deep/thought provoking yet had to include the standard Hollywood gimmicks/cliches/sensationalism to please the masses.

A comparison could be like Narc vs Training day debate that I'll save for another day. Maybe my favorite N.W.A track that still sounds fresh to this day.

Decent Techno remix form these two French Dudes who I was unaware of until recently. Heard this in the Trus'me fact mix released not to long ago. Close to as underground as it can in the days of the internet.
