Zappa's "Jazz From Hell" and Al Dimeola's "Elegant Gypsy." Not sure if these were remastered using something like ProTools, but they are not as enjoyable to listen to as I remember, back when I first bought these albums in the early 80s. Everything sounds like it has been programmed. Every string pick, every drum strike, etc. is precisely on the beat. It doesn't feel human. Now it could be that those guys were so amazingly technical that they could pull that off back then, but it feels more like the songs have been re-mastered digitally to align everything and "correct" slightly off-timed notes, which makes it sound mechanized rather than played by humans.
