I could use this guy. I just bought one awhile back. I sunk it the first time i took it out a few weeks ago. Got turned sideways in some fallen tress and sunk that mofo in 5 feet of water. Shit was so funny. I learned alot that day.Kayak instructor, most of the time it's extreme baby sitting but I'm working toward my Level 3 and that will allow me to work as a river guide..
So they buy energy in bulk at irregular intervals?as boring as it sounds, I deal with major users of electricity and natural gas in the uk and have to advise them on ways to avoid purchasing at bad points in the markets, ie don't buy at the high points which are extremely detrimental to their businesses and put them in a position where they may be losing money compared to their competitors. Have to deal with board level decision makers who are financial directors, chief exec's, Cfo's, etc who are responsible for reducing risk to their bottom line, which is making money........at times difficult, but anyone could do what I can with a bit of training..........probably surprising coming from someone who comments on roadhouse and his nightly movie choices.![]()
Man that is literally the most dangerous thing that could have happened... Please please don't go out on moving water unless you have experienced people with you... You could eeeeaaaasssily have been snagged and drowned happens allllll the time.. Find a lake and don't get off it till your roll is bomb proof, incidentally a roll wouldn't have helped much here but by the time you can roll all of your other skills should be on point for slow moving rivers.I could use this guy. I roll with one all the time, the poor fucker is just along for the ride mostly.I rolled with a kayak once
Caught that fucker in a flying omaplata
Depending on the client, they typically buy in smaller amounts to limit their exposure to buying large amounts at the wrong time.......there are trigger limits - they will have a high and low level to buy, with the lower level that will never be triggered until it comes back up to the original lower level but never breaching the origally set lower level.......not complicated but provides protection. So they buy energy in bulk at irregular intervals?
Ok, I get you. What would be a typical client large scale manufacturing or the like? I'm impressed by the efficiency shouldn't be surprised though.Depending on the client, they typically buy in smaller amounts to limit their exposure to buying large amounts at the wrong time.......there are trigger limits - they will have a high and low level to buy, with the lower level that will never be triggered until it comes back up to the original lower level but never breaching the origally set lower level.......not complicated but provides protection.
Like the question, a very educated one, industrial and commercial users...........UK - deal with Consumers that spend in excess of £2m per year, the market is very mature and allows for itOk, I get you. Brother are you UK based?Electrical & Mechanical Designer for mining & oil / gas....so I sit in front of a computer doing math and geometry all fucking day. pay is good enough that I dont complain. $35 - $45/hr is what I usually make.
out of work right now because no one in the okanagan is hiring designers. they all want engineers to do the designers job. the industry is changing and I am thinking within 10 years my job will be obsolete. at least in title and education. so I am currently weighing my options about where to go from here...I got 6 months of EI to figure it out.
Thanks, I enjoy learning.Like the question, a very educated one, industrial and commercial users...........UK - deal with Consumers that spend in excess of £2m per year, the market is very mature and allows for it

Sure, but are you willing to take a huge fu-cing risk?Could you bore me for hours on how to profit from them as an individual???![]()
Haha Given that I take no risk currently is a huge risk such a big one?? I joke but you do sound like a guy who knows a thing or two about markets is all and I've always had an interest even though I have no real money... Ha in fact it's probably because I have no real money.Sure, but are you willing to take a huge fu-cing risk?

What make and model of boat are you in?
What is your training/skill level?
Ok, here's a tip, buy a good amount of barrels of oil now while prices are suppressed if you can afford to hold on until it rises again..........because it will surely rise again as long as the saudis control,things.......they are happy to hold back production (which they can easily increase) until they are comfortable they have a hold on price control - holding back until shale gas production is under control which is their main goal.Could you bore me for hours on how to profit from them as an individual???![]()
Hi Homer!I'm a power plant operator. Burning coal whilst hastening the destruction of the planet.

NO MOVING WATER PLEASE!!! Water that deep that is slow moving can still have channels of fast moving water underneath that can be more then enough to pin your raggedy ass to a branch and you will not get out of your boat or back to the surface of the water... It all depends on the shape of the river bed and whether there is bends in the river.. Water moves faster in tight spaces so if there is a channel in the river bed the flow inside there will be much faster.. Also the outside of a bend will be moving faster both of these can easily pin you and drown you.. Seriously brother you are rolling with a black belt that does not give a fuck about your life. There are so many other things... Like for instance if you fall out two boulders side by side on the bed can easily trap your foot and your body will carry you forward and you will not be able to free your foot. Please go to a lake or sheltered bay and learn the strokes.. I can list them for you and share all sorts of videos demonstrating them step by step. It's extremely important you learn this stuff... No I'm not just a worried pussy I know what I'm talking about.. Be careful..View attachment 4130
Manufacturer is Future beach and the model is Trophy 126. I got it at the local sporting good store. My experience in a kayak? That was my first. Experience in and on water? Alot. Im a very experienced and capable swimmer. I understand the risks involved. It wouldn't be fun without them. This was a trial run in a very small part of the Merced river. Once i realized that being sideways, like you said is a very dangerous place to be. I realized i wasnt getting out of the trees. I just dumped it over on purpose to get the hell out of the thing. The entire left side of my body was beaten and bruised. The water is about 5 feet deep and not moving that much, but it doesnt take much. I miss read the river and ended up in the trees. Thats not gonna happen again.
Excellent I can afford some... I don't do anything now where is a good place to start Brokers etc? I know nothing now but point me in the right direction and I'll find out for myself. Out of curiosity what is the time frame for the oil? A Year? Five?Ok, here's a tip, buy a good amount of barrels of oil now while prices are suppressed if you can afford to hold on until it rises again..........because it will surely rise again as long as the saudis control,things.......they are happy to hold back production (which they can easily increase) until they are comfortable they have a hold on price control - holding back until shale gas production is under control which is their main goal.
