What kind of gun or guns do you have?

Anyone know of a Micro Red Dot (Trijicon RMR-esqe) with the same footprint. In the $100-$200 range.

Need one for my 45 degree mount.

I’ve seen a couple made by SwampFox on that price range. I have never used one but I’ve seen a couple reviews for them on YouTube when I was looking for a red dot of my own. All the reviews were positive but they might be sponsored ?‍♂. I was looking at a few of their red dots for my new AR but I ultimately went with the Eotech 512. It’s a bit bigger but I like the idea of AA batteries and it was a bit more affordable.
There’s always the Vortex Venom or Sig Romeo Zero for about 2-250.

Got a me a Springfield AR in 5.56 last week and I put an Eotech 512 on it. Shot it a bit after work but I’m gonna get down tomorrow.

Yeah I've seen those too.

I also seen one by Vector Optics called Frenzy on Amazon.

As well as a UTG one for cheap but possibly too cheap.

I just need a solid back up red dot.
Nothing overly built.

I may just go with the Vortex Venom if I can find it for a steal.

My target: a empty oil barrel.

Shot this sucker standing up at 100 yards to confirm zero



Then setup a 6 inch plate for 200 yards



First 2 shots

Didn't have that luxury with the provided ammo supply.

But yes 5 shots groups would have been better.

Forgot to mention 7 mph cross wind from east to west.

I have a 38 special S&W K frame, not a regular 38 though.

I had an airweight
38 feels good
357 rocks the wrist

and I have a pretty strong wrist

he was wounded by the tumbling 5.56 bullet, and had to be carried by 2 other soldiers, because that's how it was designed.
