Here’s some load data. I’m new with the chronograph, so I didn’t get a consistent reading. The last page is for this weekend.View attachment 32171View attachment 32172View attachment 32173

I’m gonna chronograph the shit out of everything this weekend. 5.56/.223, 7.62x39, 7.62x51, 10mm, 9mm, 44 mag and who knows what else. Some 22lr Stingers and standard Federal rounds. I’m gonna have another page or 2 of the 7.5x55 Swiss too.

My daily carry. Thinking about picking up an AR that I saw at my local gun shop last week but not sure I want to part with $600 right now.
Are those really wicked or something?i've been wanting to try some "Ruger Only" loads in .357
How do you like the G2C? Taurus doesn’t have the best reputation but I’ve heard a lot of good things about the G series. I’ve got a Taurus .357/38 and the little keeper bolt that holds the cylinder in kept coming out. They sent me a gang of new ones and I just put some locktite on it and it seemed to do the trick. They got a G3 down the road for $219 and I thought about picking it up, just cuz.View attachment 31903

Nice. I got about 100 of 47 grain of h4831 and IMR 4350 right now in various bullet weight. I’m gonna kill an elk or deer with this K31, and maybe finish it off with this bayonet I got.@Big Dummy to make the most of your chrono and range time make 1 of each weight from the bottom of the capacity to the top. Ie, 50, 50.5, 51, 51.5, 52, etc.
As you shoot the speed will get faster with more powder, but you'll notice that in your pattern that there will be a plateau. Ie, 1500fps, 1550, 1600, 1650, 1653, 1700. The one or two spots in your speed chart that plateau are where you'll find your best accuracy for that bullet in that rifle. This also drastically cuts down on load development time.
Max load is like 52.3 or something. I’ve been keeping it on the low sideNice. I got about 100 of 47 grain of h4831 and IMR 4350 right now in various bullet weight. I’m gonna kill an elk or deer with this K31, and maybe finish it off with this bayonet I got.

I can get 13 more rounds per 100 by loading them light. You of all people should appreciate that.Stop being a pussy
So 1500 would be the winner right?@Big Dummy to make the most of your chrono and range time make 1 of each weight from the bottom of the capacity to the top. Ie, 50, 50.5, 51, 51.5, 52, etc.

I really like it. Have put about 300 rounds of cheap brass ammo thru it without a problem. Holds 12 rounds, compact, racks really smooth and easy, love the feel of it. Not as accurate as I’d like but I think it could be the sights, as Taurus changed them on the G3C. I paid $309 for this brand new. For that kind of money, you really can’t go wrong. I am probably going to try new sights on it soon. How do you like the G2C? Taurus doesn’t have the best reputation but I’ve heard a lot of good things about the G series. I'd like to think that you think more highly of yourself than this.I paid $309 for this brand new. For that kind of money, you really can’t go wrong.
Nah baby, I’m old school. First pistol. Didn’t want to spend a fortune on one. Loved the feel of it. Turned out to be a good gun for the money. Next one I get may be higher $ but this one will do the trick for right now.I'd like to think that you think more highly of yourself than this.

You don't need to spend a fortune on a quality hand gun man. I don't trust a Taurus with your life, let alone my own. If it wasn't a carry gun I'd probably pick on you a little and call you a girl or something. But this is different imo.Nah baby, I’m old school. First pistol. Didn’t want to spend a fortune on one. I'm gonna use you to defend himself.Have you ever had to use it to defend yourself
Rural Indiana is just not ready for that, I don’t think.I'm gonna use you to defend himself.
Rookie move, bro.The my garage door spring broke. The repair guy noticed my brass tumbler in the garage and said he'd give me a price break if I hooked it up with for 45. I declined.
Odd post given the context of the thread.I can't replace a garage door spring, so I called a man to do it.
