That pistol has the slide run inside the frame rails right? Do you notice any advantages to that?
Yes it does. It's supposed to keep the gun from kicking up as much from recoil, which in theory keeps you closer on target for the next round.
The gun is just plain fun to shoot. It's well made and feels good in the hand, plus it's accurate and reliable/consistent. Everyone I've ever let shoot it says something like "damn, I really like shooting that gun".
Try shooting one sometime if you can, I'd bet you'll like it. The tritium sights are cool too.
I'll see I can find the link, but the testing that gun went through before being approved as a duty pistol was crazy.

I was looking at the Israeli IWI Jericho 9mm and the IWI baby eagle also. They both have the slide inside the frame design too. Gona get my hands on a CZ or 1 of the Israeli ones this week and go to the range

Nice! If you shoot the CZ let me know what you think. The P-01 and P-06 are awesome guns. I used to have an older model CZ 75, and I liked it fine, but my P-06 is awesome in comparison. I haven't shot either of the other guns you mentioned, so I'm curious about some feedback on those too.

Got my hands on a CZ 9mm. Real nice gun but i was pulling my shots to the left an inch or so the 1st cpl clips. Im still way better w my .45 edc. There were a cpl urban guys there acting all tough and wouldnt get out my way when i walked past. Then when they saw me shoot they both wanted to ask me questions and be friendly. Anyway the CZ is nice. Saw the Jericho and Baby Eagle too. Baby Eagle has the decocker on the slide. Fuck that

For what it's worth, I prefer the .40 model (P-06) but it's the same frame as the P-01. Now that you mention it, I remember pulling shots as well when I first got mine. Don't have that issue anymore though. I've shot it enough that that gun just feels 'right' to me now. I'm not a big fan of composites, so I really like the feel of the aluminum and rubber grips on my CZ. I always chalked it up to user error on my part. Do you think it was the trigger making you pull shots? (with the hammer down or half cocked it is kind of a heavy pull)
I know that CZ has a custom shop where you can do all kinds of shit to the gun, including adjusting the trigger pull. I doubt I ever get around to doing anything like that, but it's good to know that the option is out there.
