wut.

I'm on all that. But for many reasons, if I can pay I've shifted to doing so.
I only go looking for alternatives theses days where the industry hasn't gotten off its ass to hand me a streaming option to buy.
Yea I hear ya, with the divorce I'm looking to cut some costs. Getting rid of DIRECTV will be decent. I'd really like to give hbo my money but I'm not an apple doucher

I love me some free media just like the next guy, but I also try to support companies who are offering an alternative ever since I cut the cord. Currently subbed to SlingTV, Netflix, Amazon Prime, Hulu Plus, Fight Pass and WWE Network. Will most likely cancel Hulu Plus because fuck sitting through commercials for a subscription service.

SlingTV is very promising so far. I just hope they work on their network infrastructure and start offering 1080p at 60fps like Netflix.

I had no idea that there were commercials on Hulu Plus. That's pretty crappy.

Worth it for the small price tag. Unfortunately, not all channels have on demand playback. But for the channels that do, you can go back about four days and watch anything that was broadcast. New channels are being added all the time and it was just announced today they will start offering NBC, CBS, ABC and FOX soon.

Let me try and explain this,

I've got a dish with four LNB's and a "linux type sat receiver", usually you have to take a subscription with a content provider, Canaaldigitaal in the netherlands or SKY UK in england. etc. etc.
Let say someone just bought all the subscriptions of every provider in europe he could find, and setup a server in which he shared his "decryption" codes.
I make a softcam in the linux receiver and pay the man to make use of his server, he gives me a line in to his server, with my dish i pick up a gazillion channels but most are not free to air, my linux box gets the decryption code via the server that i paid the man for and i have a shitload of channels from all across europe.

So i do not need to pay extra for ppv, i can get whatever i want in one of the gazillion channels

For everybody in europe and that includes the uk this is a viable option.
i did some searching but i couldn't find a a usa cardsharing community so you're probably shit out of luck.
but who blames you, every show in the us starts with FBI threats to come lock you up and plundering your bank accounts.

"This is the fbi you are pirating a 50 dollar ppv if we catch you, you better have a quarter million waiting for us"

I have an unused 1yr coupon for hulu that I don't want. When they email me again I'll save the info and post it. Only sub I pay for is Fightpass

I think posting it is a horrible idea, just pm me and I'll make sure it finds a good, suitable home ;)

But America?

The only thing i could find was a few chinese sellers, that sell directv and dish network newcamd for the following satellite's.

110w, lyngsat.com/packages/Dish-USA-110W.html
119w, lyngsat.com/packages/DirecTV-USA-119W.html
118.8 Anik-F3, lyngsat.com/packages/Dish-USA-119W.html
129w lyngsat.com/packages/Dish-USA-129W.html

For about 35 dollars a year, thats a big bargain but i can't tell you the quality, if you allready got the equipment they give out a free one day test.
A shitty c-line can cause some freezing while you watching, that's not what you want.

There is another option to get european tv in the usa and various other web-based US subscription like Netflix, hulu, fightpass, etc, etc, which won't burn a hole in your pocket but i won't post them here but if you hit me up via PM i can give you a link for research purposes.

Splinty @Splinty;) If you don't like this being posted here delete please

Netflix, Amazon, Xbox Music, and Crunchyroll.

I only use the music.
