Enoch Powell was the fucking man and warned about this and as usual, was slandered and marginalised (same as Pat Buchannan and others here) He saw the writing in the wall early on, but since these things take time to compound and get truly out of control, the take down effort worked and Brits just couldn't stop patting themselves on the back and talking about how much they love their "curry".
