Mine is like right above my tail bone and can usually be fixed for a while with a nice hot bath followed by a TENS treatment.

Doing much better now. I've been pain free since getting it fixed up. A tremendous relief. I still have some numbness in my left leg, but it seems to be getting better and the doc says that should go away as the nerves calm down.

I am getting around pretty well now, but I am still limited in what I am allowed to do (can't lift more than 40 lbs, no hard twisting or bending, etc.). Although I am pain free now, I have to give the disc more time to finish healing. I've been doing lots of walking/hiking to stay somewhat in shape, and this week I was allowed to start on the stationary bike. Boring, but a welcome activity - I've been going crazy not being able to exercise! In about 6 more weeks I should be cleared to get back to normal activities. I can't wait to get my mountain bike back on the trail!
