I’m not so sure that everyone is gonna be jumping at this. Kamala is the only person that would have access to the campaign funds. Everyone else would be starting with $0. For someone like newsome to risk his political future on a 3 month campaign would be suicide. I think they run Kamala . She gets smoked and the dems can wash their hands of her in the future.

Something will happen that will cause him to pull his name from consideration. Almost certainly a medical issue. I'm sure the plans are already in the works. I'm thinking it likely gets triggered around June or July.

I don't know how they navigate Kamala Harris. That's the dangers of identity politics. These decisions have consequences, and the Dems have an individual unqualified for the VP office and completely unpromotable to the next step up the ladder.
