I don't think anyone gives a fuck about these shows anymore. Now instead of the "Did you watch the Oscars last night" with the response of "Didn't even know they were on", it's "Did you see Will Smith smack the fuck out of Chris Rock?"
Although I don't think Rock is that good of an actor. He genuinely looked stunned after the smack. So probably real.

For example.
There is no way an un-mic'ed Will Smith screams "Keep! My Wife's Name, out your FUCKIN' MOUTH" at the top of his lungs twice during a live Oscars broadcast and it's a pre-rehearsed skit. Not in a million years.
