it would be stupid to ever let it get that far.
Not really. They thought he was going to help them. They were stranded. The girl had a weird feeling at first because they found a baby wandering and the hunter Wouldn't take them to find help until after he checked his trap but at the same time they had their hands tied because their car had a flat, they were unable to get out of there without the hunter's help so they went with him and the hunters ambush them and it got to that point. Haven't you been in a situation where you relied on someone and were kind of helpless to that person's decision?

Actually the girl asked her fiancee if they could just drive on the flat after they found the baby and the man said no that the terrain was too rough that they would never get out of there. True or false?

He couldn't get the bolts off the tire, they had seized.

Ya but the whole thing was that It's one thing to hide if the Bush man potentially murders your fiancee (love is not enough?) but a baby too is basically asking would you save your own life before the person you love and a child. That's what makes the question difficult. No one wants to try their luck with a psycho and a shotgun but if That's what's on the line then ethically That's the right thing to do but we are also selfish and cowardly and In that situation we might just hide like what the man chose to do.
It is not the "ethically" right thing to do. Unless you are speaking to your individual "ethics". Which I question because you wouldn't even put aside your pride and give up your hoo ha to save him and the baby.

If you drive on the rims, they'll never be true again. I assume the guy knew that and decided he didn't want to date the dumb bitch anymore. Hence his actions for the rest of the movie.

So the question is, would a request to drive on the rims end your relationship?

They were just engaged. In fact he proposed right on the beach where this all happened.

It would be as morally repugnant to me as the rape of a woman or potential injury to a child. I could not do any of that.

That's just weird girl.

Someone gives you their pov and you dismiss it because it is not yours. Fine but don't pretend as though you want a discussion.

Isn't there a movie where something like this happens but it turns out those being hunted are complete weirdos and flip the script on the bad guys and torture them?

Reminds me of The River Wild where Meryl Streep I think it was was the brave hero and the husband was a pussy.. An Unmarried Woman in the mid seventies was the first big blockbuster of the genre. Husband is blubbering with snot running down his nose telling a Jill Clayburgh he's living here and running off with his boyfriend or something. Acadamy Award winner. This is feminist film at it's overwrought worst, best be on guard for it. I don't watch movies at all any longer but when I did I could smell these feminist vehicle a mile away, I imagine Australia is awash in feminist cinematic junk, I don't remember good things.

Kind of but I like how whoever wrote this had the foresight to make the character a doctor. So There's kind of some room to consider that a person who dedicates their life to saving lives has a hard time contemplating taking one, even the life of a murderer.

For a low budget movie it wasn't half bad. My only criticism is with the stereotypical hill people as the antagonists. I loved that chicken shack drug lord character on breaking bad. It was sort of the last person you would suspect of being a pipeline. Wish this movie had a bad dude that you couldn't quite peg and otherwise this movie could have really good.

Hmm, I haven't met a lot of doctors but they have all seemed so cool under fire that I have the impression a doctor would take the most pragmatic course of action i.e. eliminating the problem. Isn't @Splinty a doctor?
