It's funny because him and Sami are pretty much responsible for my renewed interest in wrasslin'.
Towards the end of '23 I picked up the 2k WWE game for super cheap on Steam, because for some nostalgia I felt like playing a wrestling game (my CAW was Starman from the OG NES game), but I realized I had zero clue about any of the actual superstars outside of the mainstays who had been around for 15+ years.
But fortunately I had Peacock for EPL, and then I got laid off, so said "Fuck it," and watched all WWE from '23 & early '24 right before this year's Wrestlemania.
And it was Sami's comedic work with the Bloodline, and Drew's slow burn heel turn that kept me engaged. And now I'm watching everything wrestling like back in the Monday Night Wars days where I had a monopoly on every TV in the house taping both wrestling shows while still watching MNF.
