Just seeing this now.

The answer is no.

I`m going to try and buy a different one of those HDMI to USB adapters.
most adapters are usb-3,usb-2,usb-c to hdmi. that old ass computer probably only has usb-a. those newer adapters wont work.

youll have to find usb-a to hdmi, or even better would be vga to hdmi. you wont be able to use your monitor and tv at same time.
