Back when I was married, my ex got on a kick that she really enjoyed putting toether puzzles. For Christmas that year, I took one of our family pictures that she really like and got it blown up to a pretty large size - 9x13 or something like that. Then I sent it off to a place that mounted it on cardboard (or whatever they use) & cut it to create a puzzle out of it. I then got her special glue she could glue the puzzle with after she made it and a frame for it so she could hang it in the bedroom after it was finished. She absolutely loved it.
