Globo TV is doing another round campaigning hard against Bozo. Showing tweets of this and that authority who are criticizing him.

Looks like he went to and supported yet another antidemocratic manifest today. Filled with people piling on top of each other. I didn’t even catch that.

He wants it. He is ensuring that the coronacrisis is dealt in the worst possible way and has drowned the country into one of its biggest political crisis in the middle of the pandemic. The corona curve in Brazil grows at one of the steepest rates in the world, soon to be at the top five (at least) in total cases and deaths.

Bozo fired the Health Minister in the middle of the pandemic. The new guy looks lost, depressed and regretful. He fired the Justice Minister who is probably the most popular man in the country. The man went out firing against Bozo, accusing him of interfering with the Federal Police. Supreme Court and Federal Police are inching close to Bozo's sons who are all involved in money laundering/militian activity/mass fake news machine and every other dirt you can think of. Supreme Court overruled Bozo's naming of a friend of the famiglia to the head of Federal Police.

Every day Bozo says something outrageous trying to create chaos and fire up his lunatic base. When asked about the fact that Brazil passed China in total cases he said "So what? I am messiah but I don't do miracles" (his middle name is 'Messias'). This, when almost 500 people are dying daily in the country and he is campaigning to end social distancing.. His team of technicians can't make the little financial help policy Congress approved work.

it's just a matter of the right political opportunity lining up and he will go. Just telling y'all.
How did this lunatic get elected?

Brazil is/was a great place. Hope they get though this intact.

Namaste

I forgot to elaborate in the OP that Bozo wants to be impeached because he doesn't want to manage the country. He was a low profile congressman for 30 years, getting easy money doing nothing. Used to live in a beach front luxury condo in Barra da Tijuca, Rio de Janeiro, the most upscale neighborhood in Rio.

He surfed a reactionist wave into the Presidency in hopes of turning the country into a chaotic, anomic state but the coronacrisis fucked his plan. He doesn't want to be stuck in a federal building having online meetings with health authorities, state governors, bureaucrats and health policy intellectuals. This is hell to him. He likes small scale conflict and shouting contests in the parliament. Presidency is boring to a guy like him and having to actually manage and run a country during the biggest crisis in modern history was a little sadistic touch of fate on him. That's why he is going head on on a suicidal run where he can go out on his shield, pretending to be an anti-establishment military hero, maintaining his deep base ("bolsominions") and securing a future career for himself and his sons in the parliament.

Very similar to Bernie

How did this lunatic get elected?
it was an accident of history. Economic elites got together to get rid of PT/Workers Party which was doing a mix of neoliberal politics with social assistance and gathering too much power for the agrarian oligarchy and financial elites to allow. Elites built a political, social and economic crisis so they'd be able to destroy whatever was left of Brazilian Welfare State under the argument that "the State is broken" and turn Brazil into an 80's style neoliberal state.

The plan worked fine but come elections time the elite hadn't built a viable candidate. Bolsonaro gained popularity in the months leading up to the presidential elections, elites lost control and decided "fuck it, let's embrace this guy". The real bolsominons amount to ~10% of the population. it was a mass of 50 million brainwashed religious radicals and middle class PT haters that gave him the amount of votes necessary to win. Even with PT being hated by almost every one you bump with on the street, Bozo didn't get that much of a landslide against them; he would've lost a second turn run against 3rd place Ciro Gomes. it was a perfect shitstorm and Brazil is paying a big price for it.

Of course: Bolsominions.

the real Bolsominions raíz (flat earthers/ anti vaccine enthusiasts/military dictatorship supporters/religious brainwashed/gun freaks) amount to ~10% of the population and will stick with him until they die (possible death caused by himself). If tonight he says they have to eat shit, tomorrow they’ll be eating shit.

the other ~40 millions who voted for him are the usual conservative/racist mid to upper class who surfed the anti-PT wave. “Unbiased people who reject politics, just want the economy to be free from the opressor state so they can have their business flourish which was hindered by PT”.

these motherfuckers are now “shocked” that Bozo is a total failure, have already turned on him without admitting they made the most retarded political decision in world history.

So normal people who wanted greater personal freedom, and to put an end towards the idiotic push towards socialism that was driving Brazil into the shitter. Seems you're just another butthurt libtard that can't stand people calling your shit philosophy out for what it is.

tell me you don't wanna slap that fucker or more. check out the simpleton watch from 1990's he wears. one of his main policy proposals is to replace those fancy pens that vip people use for regular Bic pens.
How dare he have an old watch and want to save money by not buying stupid pens.

he also justified starting a mid-pandemic political war with his former justice minister who is the most popular man in the country by claiming he ordered to turn off the heater in the presidential pool.

anyway if you are serious then you are one of the guys that would like him if you were here. he backs up financial policies that shift over a billion bucks (local currency) of public money per year to private banks and elite investors, gave private banks 800 millions the first day of the current crisis, wants to send you to death without protection, no testing, no health infrastructure, no plan to deal with the virus, but he saved money switching for Bic pens.

to be correct, the first guy got fired; the second one resigned today.

the second guy didn't make it to a full month in office. Wednesday he was informed by reporters during a press conference that Bozo had included gyms, beauty sallons and barber shops in the list of essencial activities. the man started stuttering, tried to come up with words that at he same time wouldn't get him in political trouble and would save his face but none came. it was one of those situations when you feel ashamed for other people. he looked like a ghost from the first day he got in, probably had the worst month of his life. doubt he had any sex since he took office, watched the country turn into the biggest corona hotbed in the world under his watch, perhaps feels somewhat responsible for thousands of deaths, got humiliated a few times in public. at least he showed some guts unlike the former guy and resigned when Bozo tried to shove chloroquine policy down his throat.

btw it leaked today that state governors are unofficially consulting with the former health minister (first guy) to guide health policies. fortunately they're just ignoring Bozo. even hardass neoliberals like São Paulo governor João Doria and radical conservative religious freaks like Rio de Janeiro's are happy to engage in war against him.

I read a quote from a health expert in Brazil who estimated that the actual number of infected is around 15x what is being reported.

That is insane if true

I've seen different results estimating it from 9 to 26. we're approaching the mark of one thousand deaths a day and quickly rising and Bozo is playing with it.
