Yeah this was a bad one IMO, why is he giving the guy so many goddamn instructions? Tell him to drop to the floor with his hands out, walk over and cuff him. Fuck. Guy was a travelling pest control worker. He was travelling on business. The girl he was with was part of a couple he met in the elevator and invited back to his room for a drink. He travels with a pellet gun he uses to shoot birds at Walmart stores. He was showing the couple the gun, and someone saw through their window and called 911.

I can sometimes understand acquittal if it’s a knee jerk reaction that went wrong, even though there should still be some form of accountability but that bastard took his time with it.
I would usually feel sympathy for a cop who had to (or accidentally) used his weapon, but for this guy I don't. He showed his true colours in the video. He had no respect for those peoples lives. He was playing a game where he knew that if they fucked up his instructions then he could legally kill them. He held it over their heads and enjoyed it. The guy was crying, begging not to be shot, and telling him that he was confused. This cop was not scared for his life, nor did he feel threatened he was just playing his game with a sick detachment as if the people he was dealing with weren't human.
I stick up for cops more than the majority of people because I think for the most part they join up for the right reasons, but you can just see in that guy's eyes he decided on law enforcement as a power trip.
Society will deal with him hopefully and karma will prevail, I bet he got bullied to fuck in school.

this happened just up the road from me. Lots of theories about the man and the woman, but she refused to give interviews to the prosecution or the defense. She may have been intimidated or threatened.
