Hair's been thinning for several years now although it seems to be speeding up how. I've been going to the barber maybe once every 4-6 weeks to get buzzed with a number 1. Luckily I have the head shape of Jason Statham; unfortunately with the jawline and general physique of Kevin James.

But anyway at some point I just need to invest in proper clippers and stop flushing money down the drain at the barber shop.

Any recommendations for good ones? How easy are they to clean and maintain etc.?

Buy some decent clippers, don’t spend a lot of money though. Take the guards and throw them in the trash.

I shave my head twice a week because I’m balding and fuck pretending it’s not happening. If you’re not confident enough to just live with it then you’re just fucked and might as well get a faggot toupee.

To answer the question I think you're asking without asking, propecia is only about 20$ a month.

Clean Oil and care for them. They only cut well maintained.

Get metal guard instead of plastic. You may want to buy one that has the adjustable guard if it's a higher end brand/model.

Cut often. The main thing with shaving head is just going all over it often and multiple directions to get strays for a uniform appearance.

This. I take my time cutting my hair, especially around the ears and back of the head. Don’t want to look all fucky.

If you're ready to take it down and embrace the bald then go with these.

I abuse the fuck out of them and don't clean/oil them as often as I should. I'm on my second pair in 10 years. They're only about $50 and they take it down to about a 5o'clock shadow.

Since you mentioned Statham, this would be more like his beard and shorter than the hair on his head.

I’ll look into this, thanks!

Not the best picture but a decent idea... This was probably 2/3 days worth of growth after using the clippers.

Barmy, In the first pic you look identical to my fav poster from Sherdog from Belfast.
We're only Insta and email buddies now but you look absolutely the same.

Just shave it with a razor in the shower and be done with it. As long as you do it every day or two it's easy upkeep.
