This is a PPV??? Outside of the main event, this is pretty brutal. Yes the fights will likely deliver, because that’s how it usually works with cards like this, but there’s no name value associated with this one at all and that’s what sells. Whittaker and Rockhold aren’t good at promoting either. Expect the numbers to be below 300k buys.

its better than, eqaul too or worse than any other cards with that 1-2 decent fights. depending on which fight/fights you like better from each card. thatswhy no one cares about posters, programs, mini posters or anything anymore. too many watered down events. a set 50-60 of ufc mini posters would go for like $60-$80 just 5 yrs ago. those same sets sell for like $10-$15 IF they even sell now.

On a side note..Is the age difference between Blaydes and Hunt (17 years) one of the biggeest in a uc matchup? I know the difference between Royce and Rob Van Clief (23 years) back in the day was bigger, but Hunt vs Blaydes has to be up there

It will do less than 175k guaranteed. UFC 213 Whitaker vs Romero only did 150k, and that was in Vegas and had a strong co-main in Reem vs Werdum, along with a few known fighters like Pettis, Jim Miller and Travis Browne (even if the card sucked). This card has only Mark Hunt as another name that anyone recognizes and it's a foreign card which always hurts PPVs.

I'm predicting 100k.

It's one of the best Australian card ever, if you're an Australian. I'm frothing over this one, but it took a massive hit with Whittaker pulling out.

If you are not an Aussie, this card is weak for sure.

You're right, he could have lost all 4 (W2-L2) of his last fights. Some were super close, and the Johhny Case fight, he pulled off a submission with 15 seconds left in the fight (Matthew's was down on the scorecards I would say).

I'm probably bias due to Matthew's being from my home city. He's 23, fought 8 times in the UFC already (W5-L3). I'm hoping all this experience and tough competition pays dividends for him.

Matthew's has promised himself, to let those hands fly. I totally agree, he's too timid in previous fights.
