Yeah I just checked current laws but this is only in South Australia.

100 grams is 150 dollar fine and no conviction. You can grow 5 outdoor plants and it is the same fine with no conviction.

A couple of years ago I was smoking one in the park here and a cop surprised me and approached asking "were you smoking marijuana'? I said "yes, I was". "well you know, you can't smoke in the park right. It's no smoking there." "um yeah, that's why I was kinda standing on the steps here, not in the park itself. Just on the edge of it.Trying to be discrete without being the creepy old guy lurking in the park at night either right. It's a delicate balance, you know".Laughs. "Okay. got it.Good call. So that's what it's like here haha.

It's really not much of a penalty, but you do go to court and get some BS charge permanently on your record. It's probably a bond or a fine. The thing I fear the most is being tested and charged with driving under the influence. It's an instant loss of licence and good luck ever getting cheap car insurance again. That was why I got the fuck away from my car when I saw the cops.

BTW I did call my friend today on his landline, (he doesn't have a cell phone, paranoid fucker) which is something he prefers I don't. He sounded fine, we talked in very vague terms but it did not sound like he had been paid a visit by the cops.

He was dry, waiting on some, so I bombed out anyway.

Night 2 is going to be a lot easier, I'm still a walking zombie from all the Bourbon so I'll probably crash later anyway.
