I didn't see the fight, did her arm balloon up like that straight away?

She's one tough bugger, that looks horrible.
that arm barely swelled for whatever reason

my elbow blew up to softball level and you couldn't see a single forearm muscle or my tricep for 8 days recently

I don't even know what I did(pain threshold is unhealthy high)

Couldn't extend it or flex it....back to normal now(96%)

point is that thing did not swell at all...paige has a bit of padding usually

I like her a lot...very cute and amazing legs on that human

Why are you on Sherdog?
I enjoy it
I've received a lot of attention for my post on there
Interviews, offers to do media columns, etc.

If you ignore the nitwits & trolls, its a fun place.

When I first posted, I engaged them back, now I post & have some very informative convo's with good members.
The sheer volume they have will bring a larger number of shitheads, so its up to the individual to ignore them or become part of the issue

& then you got guys like @jeicex that e-flex & instigate, but .......................

How times have changed
Randy couture is praised for Beating Gonzaga at UFC 74 with broken arm. Rich Franklin is praised for beating Liddell with a broken arm at UFC 115. Paige fighting with a broken arm for 2 1/2 rounds is the kind of toughness that attracted me to the sport. Talent aside based on some of her losses she is one of the toughest fighters to ever step in the cage.
So was Gregory Smit in Pancrase. Those people are celebrated because they won. When you're not great anyway and you break your arm and lose, no one remembers you and no one should. There are plenty of tough people who can take a beating.

It’s not a lifetime achievement award. I said talent aside. Her fighting and losing with a broken are should be looked at no differently then when Frank Shamrock broke his arm and tufted out against Cung. Hell we hear about Faber breaking his hands against Brown every time someone breaks a hand. I can still respect people who were tough as nails and still lost. My memory of the sport would be much different if I just forgot guys like Varlens, Matsui, and Bitonio just because they weren’t great.

I don't know how Varelans gets in anyone's memory aside from as target practice for Ruas. Bitonio was more of a Rocky story than anything. Matsui was The Brooklyn Brawler of Pride. Paige shouldn't even be in the UFC so the fact that she's getting beaten up and broken is less endearing than disgraceful, particularly on main cards. The only legit thing she ever did was beat Felice. This time around she claimed the weight cut was why she was struggling, but that in this fight at a more normal weight she would be completely different. She didn't deliver in any way or give a memorable performance with her injury. She also sustained it doing spinny stuff which no one of her talent level should be trying anyway.

Face it Hawk, she's headed for the CM Punk club, not the Jacare club.

I've said she was a victim of the UFC pushing her too early. I you want to have a conversation about who doesn't belong in the UFC we have about 300 names to discuss.Confused about the weight cut comment? She said this was her best weight cut and finally fought at her actual weight. Her losses are to Torres, Rose, Waterson, and Clark. 3 top 5 ranked and a top 10. She won the last round with a broken arm and survived a triangle for minutes with that arm caught. And by the Jacare club do you mean being apart of the amatuer club of being KO'd by an upkick.:D

I mean she said at this weight she would dominate and she showed signs even forgiving the arm of being outmuscled and outskilled. She lost to everyone good and has one win over someone decent. 115 or 125, she needs some more Invicta time or to try Japan. Her broken arm shows she's tough and I give her a lot of credit for hanging on, but we remember people like Jacare for surviving Roger's armbar because he won the world championship.

Always victims with you people! :tonguewink:

I am a 47 year old average toughness man. Been in some fights, played sports etc... I can freely admit a hundred pound chick is tougher than I am. :( That is not easy.
