I understand being passionate about things, but there's no reason to make things so personal. It won't help you be more right, but it does kind of ruin the fun tone of the Forum.
I voted in the last election via write in from a combat zone. Obviously, I can take an election pretty seriously.
But I'm not sure that voting is the end-all-be-all of good citizenship.
Decreasing voter turnout via forced voter is apathy a tried-and-true process of campaigning. Given that it's a formulaic attempt to decrease voter turnout where that decrease will likely help one candidate, I don't think it's "worse" to not vote.
