This is the first time I've been in front of a tv so don't know many details about the event. Has anyone said anything about the officer? His interaction or outcome? There was an armed officer on campus.
The FLL shooting was about a year ago. That dude's friends physically brought him to the FBI months before the shooting. Also, his gun was taken away and then RETURNED before the shooting. Apparently he was a classic schizophrenic who heard voices but did not receive adequate treatment until after he shot up an airport. The FBI actually received 2 complaints on him.
He didn’t encounter the shooter. The school is huge. This is the first time I've been in front of a tv so don't know many details about the event. Has anyone said anything about the officer? His interaction or outcome?
@Splinty I am trying to upload another pic with that one but it won’t allow me to, keeps giving me an error but I have no issues uploading that one in the same round...
Another quick question... what happens to the photos we upload through there?Imgur hiccup or some connection problem on your end.
Try again in 5 minutes. All we do is use the imgur API to shoot the picture onto their hosting and show it to you. If their servers hiccup, it will give an error.
Will be moving away from them later this year. But I can't do too much about it right now. They've really abused their position in the marketplace

Hmmm. Thanks.Held in a private storage on imgur (originally only a free image hosting service) server. They're not accessible publicly unless the direct link is given.
I don't disagree with the second part, but it's denial to think that the ease of access to weaponry within the U.S. doesn't play it's part. Any sort of prohibition would take time to work, especially because of the sheer amount of weapons in circulation within the U.S. but a gradual reduction in arms over decades would help to tackle the problem. I don't think there is any one quick fix, unless the U.S. citizenry say enough is enough and give up their guns voluntarily.I bet @Zeph would disagree.
Of the 10 deadliest mass shootings, 6 were done with an AR-15.I don't know why people are claiming most mass shootings are done using ar-15 style rifles. That simply isn't true. In the US, a mass shooting is defined as the murder of three or more people without a cooling off period. Most mass shootings are gang related violence and are carried out using handguns.
Local law enforcement: No ties between militia and school shooter
The White Nationalist leader came out and said he was a member hours after that story was posted. At the time the local police said that it could have been true, but surely it changes when they come out and say he was a member.Local law enforcement: No ties between militia and school shooter
Local law enforcement sources have so far not found a connection between accused Parkland school shooter Nikolas Cruz and a Tallahassee-based paramilitary group.
Leon County law enforcement sources told the Tallahassee Democrat that they could not find information linking Cruz, 19, to the Republic of Florida Militia, as first reported by the group’s self-proclaimed leader Jordan Jereb.
Leon County Sheriff’s Office Lt. Grady Jordan said investigative work Thursday did not yield any connections.
“We are still doing some work but we have no known ties between the ORF, Jordan Jereb or the Broward shooter,” Jordan said.
Cruz entered Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School Wednesday, investigators say, with an AR-15 and opened fire, killing 17 people and injuring 14. He faces 17 counts of premeditated murder.
